Make an Easy Easter Centerpiece with Fresh Produce
I have an easy centerpiece idea for Easter using fresh produce and adorable felt critters from Terrain. When you think of a beautiful centerpiece for an Easter gathering, you probably think of fresh flowers. While I love floral arrangements, I also love the idea of something even more fun for my Easter tablescape.

The felt critters that almost have a personality when you see their sweet little faces made me think of creating something where I could feature them. I imagined the bunnies in a garden, so I used a simple metal tray and fresh garden produce. I created a “garden” centerpiece. The wonderful thing about creating something like this is that you could make it as large or as small as you need. Mine is a small wide tray, but I could also imagine using a larger rectangular tray like this one in the center of a table. (The Habit + Form trays are currently on sale at Terrain.)
This is the perfect Easter centerpiece to include family in creating it. It’s a wonderful way to get everyone involved. Kids of any age could be included in assembling this type of Easter decor for the center of your table for Easter brunch.
You could probably use faux flowers and faux greenery, but I think the best part is using fresh produce. Once I saw the beautiful radichhio and the carrots with fresh tops in my local grocery store, I knew I was onto something! Another benefit of using vegetables is that nothing goes to waste. The following week, we roasted the beets and carrots, made slaw with the cabbage, and added the radicchio to a salad with other greens.

A beautiful Easter centerpiece starting with Terrain’s felt critters

Handmade especially for Terrain, these sweet felt critters can be added to Easter baskets, Easter table decorations, or a spring centerpiece with fresh seasonal produce. How adorable is the little puppy dressed up like an Easter bunny? Or the sweet felt bunny with a wheelbarrow full of flowers is ready to brighten your springtime table.
There are really no step-by-step instructions for this centerpiece. Just add what you like with the color and texture of the produce, and tuck in some felt critters for fun! It’s the perfect centerpiece for a kitchen island or on the coffee bar.

The produce used for this pretty centerpiece
- Fresh carrots with greens
- Curly kale
- Purple cabbage
- Radicchio Rosa*
- Beets with leaves
- Fresh herbs like mint
*Radicchio Rosa

The radicchio rosa initially got me thinking of using fresh produce with the adorable felt critters to create a garden scene. The radicchio rosa is a loose-leaf head in a beautiful rose color. Its flavor is milder than that of other radicchio varieties. Only available in winter and early spring, it adds a beautiful pop of color to any salad or centerpiece.
Radicchio rosa is so beautiful in color that it would be gorgeous with any fresh seasonal flowers for something a little different.

Some other Easter favorites from Terrain for your holiday table

A vase with blooming branches
The Monochromatic Delft Vase works perfectly to hold branches or cherry blossoms to hang decorative eggs. These colorful eggs come in a set of six, each with a different-colored velvet ribbon. In May, I’ll use the vase for a flower arrangement with garden peonies or maybe even rhododendrons. This vase would be a thoughtful gift for anyone with springtime blooms in their garden.
A vase that’s not clear glass makes floral design so easy. While I sometimes prefer seeing the woody stems of hydrangeas, other times, it is easier when the vase does not show the stems. The vase and the flowers become the focal point.
Easter table settings

I used vine lattice plates, botanical white linen napkins, and the Lily of the Valley table runner from Terrain. I mixed it with coffee-colored plates and purple glassware (from a previous collaboration with Terrain) and made an Easter brunch menu on Canva. I am never very good about sticking to a color scheme. I mixed new items with some old favorites, and somehow, everything seemed to work together beautifully. I hope this gives you some great ideas for Easter table centerpieces!
