Hi, I’m Annie Diamond and I’ve always loved creating a beautiful home for our family. We have lived in quite a few places and currently live in a quaint New England town just 40 miles from NYC. My husband and I have been married for 33 years! Our kids are 26 and 21. Patrick is in his last year of college and Madeline lives and works in NYC. Madeline is an assistant editor at Travel & Leisure and sometimes writes for MLT. I enjoy sharing recipes, DIY, travel, coffee shops we’ve found and loved, and of course anything home decor.
Our current home was built in 1920 and has been a bit of a project both inside and out. My husband is the most talented person I know. He can make anything from a sketch (prior to cellphones that’s how every project began). We would shop Montana Avenue in Santa Monica and La Brea Boulevard in LA and if we found a piece of furniture we liked, I would sketch it and Brent would figure out a way to build it. This was during the peak of Shabby Chic so it didn’t have to be perfect. We have always loved the mix of rustic with modern. My favorite piece of furniture is our Saarinen Tulip Table which sits beside a built-in bench that Brent built, from a sketch. (This was in our former home, I’m still working on him to build one in our current home).
If you want to work together, there are lots of ways we can do that. Check under the Collaboration tab.
