Make this easy fun centerpiece for easter

| | | |

Make this easy fun centerpiece for easter starting with a modern candelabra from Anthropologie. And when Easter is over, remove everything and you have a cool, simple candelabra.

This easy-to-put-together centerpiece is one of my Sunday favorites! If you happen to be new around here, every Sunday I get together with my friends Mary Ann and Cindy, and we each share five things that we’ve found during the week that we love!

The Supplies You’ll Need to Make an easy Easter Centerpiece

How to put together your Easter Centerpiece

  1. Once you’ve decided on your Franka Candelabra, and gathgered your supplies, it takes a just a minute to put it together.
  2. Start by adding the moss or the basket filler.
  3. Unwrap your chocolate bunnies and arrange them in the base of the candelbara. You’ll nestle them into the moss. I put them going in all one diretion as if they are chasing one another.
  4. Sprinkle some speckled eggs around. I used some that I had, but these could be chocolate speckled eggs too!
  5. Add in a few spring plants like miniature daffodills or Johnny Jump Ups. I tried to find the wild pansies, because they are edible and I would love to use them in shortbread cookies like these.
  6. Add the candles and enjoy!

Why this easy centerpiece works!

Centerpiece using a Candelabra from Anthopologie

It’s easy to put together and you may even have some of the supplies on hand. If you didn’t want to buy a new candelabra like I’m showing here, you could easily make this centerpiece using what you have.

You could use a platter or a soup tureen

Try using a platter or a soup tureen and simply arrange 3-4 candles in some sort of minimal candle holder and then add your moss, chocolate bunnies, eggs, and spring plants.

I would usually do it this way because I’m all for using what you have. However, when I saw the Franka Candelabras, I really liked the simple modern design and knew that I would use it in many different ways for holidays and seasons.

Another way to use this candelabara is with beach stones, shells and driftwood

What else could you use to make a simple Easter Centerpiece?

I loved this rustic iron trough. I think this would work beautifully and it comes in three sizes. So depending on the length of your table, choose the size that works.

2. Digital Downloads from Ukraine artists on Etsy

It was my friend Sherri Cassara that gave me the idea to support the people of Ukraine in this small way. She said she searched digital download art on Etsy and then specified Ukraine. She bought from several shops and had the art printed on cardstock and made them into cards. Sherri said some of the shopowners messaged her saying they were living in bomb shelters and their Etsy shops are distracting them from the horror.

While I was searching, I discovered many beautiful things and will have some cards printed as well, but this one really touched me from ElenaHMShop.

3. Dazzle Dry Nail Polish

I recently discovered Dazzle Dry polish and now I won’t be using anything else! I normally only get buff manicures. The reason is that I am so hard on my hands, that polish never lasts. My manicures when I did get them with polish would last 2-3 days tops. With Dazzle Dry nail polish that was recommended by my friend Diane, they last for 10 days. And even at day 10, it’s really only a little dull (I only do one coat), no chips!

I use only the polish and bring it with me to the nail salon. You can purchase a mini-prep kit, which I am tempted to try because of how happy I am with the polish. Oh and another important thing to note about these prodcuts is that they are all non-toxic. It takes only 5-minutes to dry!

4. Kitchen Sink Granola and my favorite label maker

granola in a glass jar in a kitchen with cutting boards against a wall with subway tile

I’ve made every kind of granola it seems, but really, the best kind is to use what you have! Throw it all together and in about 20 minutes you have the best homemade granola! It’s good with cold milk, on top of yogurt, or even ice cream as a dessert.

If you haven’t made your own in a while, go see what’s in your pantry and make some today! It smells so good while it’s baking. Store it in a jar for about a week (if it lasts that long) or keep it in the freezer. Take out what you need, give it a few minutes to thaw on the counter, and enjoy!

Kitchen Sink Granola is basically homemade granola made with what you already have in your pantry!

  • Author: annie diamond
  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Cook Time: 20 minutes
  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 12 1x
  • Category: breakfast

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 cups oats
  • 1 cup coconut
  • 1/4 cup flax seed
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • a big pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 3/4 cup almond butter

Instructions

  1. Mix it all up and spread out on a baking sheet lined with parchment. If you want granola clusters (and who doesn’t?)avoid spreading it too thin. Keep it clumped together. Bake in a 325° oven for 8-10 minutes, rotate the pan and bake again. Depending on how thick, will depend on how long to bake it. But don’t leave the kitchen. Check often to make sure the edges aren’t burning!
  2. Top on yogurt, ice cream, or just with some ice cold milk! Yum!

5. Spectator Shoes for spring

We are doing a post this week on spring shoes and this Bass loafer is my spring shoe. They are a little bit spring/summer and perfect with linen or denim! Bass shoes have been around forever. Well made and very reasonably priced. And since it’s still cold in the northeast, this is the perfect shoe for spring!

Now let’s go see what Cindy & Mary Ann found this week?
