Back with Sunday Favorites along with my friends Mary Ann and Cindy and these wall vases have quickly become one of my all time favorites things to incorporate into a gallery wall!

Looking for the best way to display the incredibly popular wall vase? When I first posted about the wall vases from the Hilton Carter Collection, it seems everyone let me know that they sold out very quickly. Target still has the black wall vase and the size is really perfect to use as a pair, in threes or even on its own or with a grouping of other art. For $20, it really is a lot of fun to find ways to use it. I have already clipped hydrangeas, wild roses and branches for mine. It could quickly become my favorite decor item because it’s so fun to switch things out. So far I’ve really only used foraged things from the beach or the yard, but I’m thinking succulents might be fun.

The Perfect Steak Pasta Salad for Father’s Day

I’m revisiting this salad for Father’s Day. Sure, it’s sort of a pasta salad, but it has steak (filet) in it and this amazing herb dressing that makes it perfect for Father’s Day when you plan to have your get together at the beach. What I love about this salad is that you can make it in the morning and it travels so well. Put it in a cooler (not too close to the ice)and serve room temperature. Bring along mini baguettes and some really good butter and then worry about dessert later!

Travel Water Bottle

I received this Que bottle as a gift and I love it especially for travel. It’s extremely light weight and it collapses to about 4″ hight and less than 3″ in circumference. So it really takes up very little space and even when it’s fully extended, it’s about 7″ high. I will always carry this with me when I travel into the city by train and for air travel too.

The perfect pair of shoes to keep by the door all summer

I love to have a pair of shoes by the back door for heading out to the garden, taking out the trash, going to the pantry, which requires going outside at our house (quirky old homes), and at first I thought I would get a pair of these after seeing them at my sister’s house, but then decided on these from Old Navy. And I’ll most likely wear them on the 4th of July!
