Sunday Favorites: The Little Details for Madeline’s Wedding

This weekend our daughter Madeline is getting married! She and Rohit had their courthouse wedding in July, and now their big celebration is finally here. We could not be more thrilled. Today’s post is short, but I wanted to share a few details we chose to make the event even more special.
On Saturday, everyone is invited to a Manhattan restaurant. We’ll have the entire restaurant to ourselves, so we added a few personal touches, like custom cocktail napkins and guest towels for the restrooms. For Your Party offers so many options to make a design exactly how you want it, and Madeline and Rohit chose a swan design with their names.
What I really appreciate about For Your Party is how much you can customize, with so many choices in size, color, font, and design. The possibilities are endless, and the quality is exceptional. You never have to compromise on quality to get something custom.
Custom matchbooks

We also ordered custom matchbooks with the same swan design and the date on the back. The design is printed directly on the matchbook rather than added as a sticker, as some companies do. Again, the quality is beautiful.
Custom designed cocktail napkins & guest towels

Even if you aren’t hosting an event, keeping a supply of custom cocktail napkins and guest towels on hand is such a lovely idea. Personalize them with your last name, your home’s name, your town, or anything else that feels like you. Imagine having a few friends over for tea or a glass of wine and pulling out napkins made just for your home. Then make sure they grab a box of matches as they head home. It’s like your favorite restaurant…you know you love it when they have matchbooks to take home.
What would you put on your custom napkins, guest towels, and matchboxes?

More Sunday favorites this week in the form of wedding details:
Scented Candles from Quince
We ordered three candles for each restroom. We love the Quince candles, and they now also offer gorgeous three– and seven-wick candles. All their candles are hand-poured in the U.S. and made with a clean-burning soy wax blend, 100% cotton wick, and recyclable glass vessel.
Aesop Handsoap
We also bought our favorite hand soap for the restrooms. There are a lot of options these days for beautiful hand soap. But we went with Aesop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Wash. We have this in our powder room, and everyone always comments on how much they love it.
Minimal bud vases
Madeline worked with a professional florist for most of the florals, but I offered to make 24 bud vases. I chose these for their modern, simplistic design. They look far more expensive than they are.
Tea Lights
You can never have too many tea lights. I bought four boxes just in case. We’ll see if we need them all, but we can always use them at home as we head into the fall holidays!

Such elegant touches. Can’t wait to hear more.
Hi Annie,
Congratulations on Madeline and Rohit’s wedding! Beautiful touches friend! Wishing the happy couple so much happiness.xox
