What I buy at Wayfair

Today, I am sharing what I buy at Wayfair because it’s Way Day! And, of course, that means Wayfair’s already good prices are even lower. I looked around my house and realized that I have quite a few things that I love and are available at Wayfair.

Tall Bookcase on Wheels

We bought these to use in our New Canaan home, and I loved them. So when we moved, I thought maybe I would find a place for them. Well, it turns out that I could use both, but this time in different rooms. We used one in our living room and one in the kitchen.

Tall Shelf in the Kitchen

We had a need for a shelf like this, and we had the perfect size spot for it in the kitchen. It holds our small microwave oven, freeing up counter space. It also holds out a large Le Creuset Dutch Oven on the top. It’s not something we use daily, but it’s pretty, so why store it out of site? The first shelf holds our Anchor Hocking jars like this and this. We also use them in our pantry. These jars are available at stores like Crate & Barrel and Target, but the best prices are at Wayfair!

The shelf below the microwave holds our KitchenAid mixer, again saving space on the counter but easily accessible.

Our stainless kitchen island was supposed to be temporary when we moved into this house. We left our freestanding island in our New Canaan kitchen when we sold the house. You can see it in this post. The stainless or metal prep table was going to be what we used until we found a more suitable kitchen island. But this one is perfect. We store our pots and pans on the lower shelf and have baskets for fruits and vegetables on the middle shelf.

We adore our electric tea kettle from Smeg. We have it on our coffee station. You can see it in this post and also this one during the holidays!

What I buy at Wayfair in the Laundry Room

I love this rug from Umbra. It’s indoor/outdoor, so I can easily clean it. I just ordered it as a runner for our kitchen. I chose the reverse color of charcoal with gray. They have several sizes of this rug in both colors.

Also, from Umbra for Wayfair, these mirrors are very reasonably priced

My friend Diane Karmen’s guest room has this mirror. When I saw it, I was surprised that it was not metal but rubber. I bought the oval mirror for our powder room. They are so reasonably priced.

Acrylic Frames

One more favorite item that I didn’t even realize was available at Wayfair is the acrylic frames. I have quite a few of these that I love to display with photos and small art all over my house.
