My Spring Fashion Wish List

|

I’m joining a few friends today to share our spring fashion wish lists! Isn’t that fun? A few items will make it to my doorstep; others may not. What’s on your spring wish list?

The purpose of this is to get us thinking of things we might think we only want, when in fact, could really be put to good use. At first, I thought my list would be all things that are truly “wishful thinking” items, when in reality, my list is pretty much items I would wear all the time.

Dressing for spring on the east coast is tricky. It’s often quite cold. Layers are a must! Jackets, sweaters, and blazers are all a must!

An everyday outfit if you live where spring is cold!

Nico Chunky Cardigan // Adidas Gazelle Sneakers // Kule Striped Boyfriend Top // Sunglasses // Baggu Tote // Everlane Carpenter Jeans

Alex Mill describes this sweater as a wear-all-year favorite that was inspired by a vintage find. It’s 100% cotton which makes it especially nice for spring. I’ll layer it over a t-shirt or a favorite Kule boyfriend striped shirt.

Adidas sneakers are so comfortable with zero breaking-in. I love sneakers in the spring in case of rain! I always spray mine with a weather protector to keep them looking nice.

I love this fun tote with spring flowers! It has both short and long handles. And it comes in 12 color/pattern options.

Running errands outfit with a stop at a cute coffee shop

Gingham Camp Shirt // Black Pants // Bucket Bag // Slides // Bracelet

This is one of those easy-to-wear outfits that always makes me feel pulled together, but with little effort. If it’s cold, I would swap the short sleeve shirt for a black tee and throw on an oversize blazer.

I love the Herringbone Black Pants from Alex Mill. They come in a few colors, and all are so versatile.

I love these slides from Vince, but I often wear Birkenstocks.

My Uniform – What I Wear Everyday

Jeans // Oversized White Shirt // Sandals // Tote // Bracelet // Bandana

We all have that one outfit we wear on repeat or some combination of the same outfit. I love a white shirt. Last year I had this one from GAP that I’ll be wearing again. The only downside is that they do need a little pressing, so having more than one is going to be nice.

I love these sandals from Sezan, and while they are on my “wish list,” these might be more practical.

This is my “let’s meet for lunch outfit.”

Pants // Black Shirt // Rag & Bone Bucket Bag // Shoes // Warby Parker Sunglasses

I adore these French Toile Linen Pants from COS. I’ll wear them with white, black and this brown shirt.

I’m loving wearing brown with black these days! I feel like I’m seeing a lot of people wearing it. Thoughts on that and what’s on your wish list?

  1. Annie you have some great pics for your wish list! I love those toile pants. I have been so tempted to order them. Do I need them? Probably not! I think they would be fabulous on you. We both obviously love that Rag and Bone bag as well!

  2. Annie, I love every outfit…I would wear them ALL. You find the best sneakers and sandals. I just bought some sandals similar to the raffia Sezane ones. So comfortable. Great job.

  3. Hi Annie, This was a fun post to do with all of you so thanks for asking me to be part of the group. I’m in South Texas, so I have the opposite problem from the one you have. We’re having a cold snap today, it’s 50 degrees right now, but in a few days it will be hot and humid, so I don’t have to worry about dressing with layers unless I take a wrap to a restaurant because the air-conditioning will make it cold. I’m loving Banana Republic’s new line so my repeat outfit will be their linen pants and shirt and white sneakers. xoxox, Brenda

  4. I love this blog but the pop up ads have become so overwhelming & intrusive, I just can’t read it anymore.
