If you know me, you know I am not one to get dressed up. Hardly ever, unless there’s an occasion that requires it! That is what I love about Garnet Hill. I can feel dressed up, but at the same time, it’s the kind of clothing that makes you look forward to getting dressed! Easy to wear casual holiday clothes from Garnet Hill will take me all the way through the holidays!
*This post is sponsored by Garnet Hill. As always, all opinions are my own.
Today, I’m joining Cindy and Mary Ann with our favorite finds of the week, and I could not let this opportunity slip away to share these new finds from Garnet Hill. I have shopped at Garnet Hill for years for bedding, table linens, stoneware, pillows, and throws, and now for clothing. Just like their fabrics for the home, everything feels so luxurious, but they are still hardworking! Like the Silk Midi Skirt. I’ve worn it at least five times since it arrived! It’s washable silk! I wear it with these beautiful suede Ruby Loafers, Birkenstocks, and sneakers.
The Washable Silk Midi Skirt
This skirt is so easy to wear. I love the shimmer and touch of sophistication you feel when you slip it on! Whether I wear it with sneakers and a denim shirt or the beautiful cashmere sweaters, it’s the perfect piece for your wardrobe. I imagine I’ll wear it year-round!
I’m wearing the Angled Rib Cashmere Sweater in the color oat heather with the Alpenglow Cardigan Sweater in black and the cashmere wrap. Each piece can be worn with denim, black jeans, white jeans, and the silk skirt, as shown! All of these pieces would be so great for travel!
The Alba Everyday Tote
This outfit suits my style perfectly. I feel comfortable but totally put together! What more could you ask for? The leather tote bag I’m wearing is this one. I love that it’s a roomy tote big enough for my laptop and has an oversized pocket on the outside to stash my phone easily. I love the gray metallic color that works well with black, brown, navy, cream, gray…all the neutrals!
Ruby Loafers
And let’s talk about the Loafers! Oh my gosh, these are the prettiest loafers. The minute I put them on, I wore them for six hours! I’m tall, so I only wear flats, but I do plan to wear these with pants and jeans too! A great pair to slip into your carry-on luggage (or Alba Everyday Tote) if you need an extra pair of shoes when traveling. They are very lightweight, and they feel so good!
Pleated Midi Skirt & Cashmere Ruffled Sweater
I’m almost surprised by how much I love this “outfit.” Because I’m a very practical person, my small wardrobe needs to be versatile. I mean, it’s my own rule, so I guess I could break it, but here’s the thing, while this look might be outside my norm, I’ve already worn the skirt with these sneakers, a t-shirt and a jean jacket with the sweater in my tote in case I needed it for an extra layer. So this outfit is perfect for entertaining (I’ll be wearing it on Thanksgiving), and it’s perfect to wear into the city for meetings!
Here are a few more favorites to share:
2. Madeline’s article in Travel & Leisure made me tear up! It’s about our experience of staying in a tiny Getaway cabin in the Catskills. Spoiler: we loved it!
3. I somehow came across this Instagram account and can get totally lost! Gunnar Hämmerle is a street photographer, and the way he approaches and photographs his subjects is very moving! Check it out; I think you’re going to love it! Follow him on Instagram @styleclicker and TikTok @styleclicker
4. Anastasia Inciardi Prints – Madeline first shared this artist with me, and I love her work using simple everyday objects. I just ordered this one!
5. Hostess gifts – We will need a few hostess gifts as we approach the holidays, so here’s my shameless plug for SHOP Most Lovely Things! A tea towel, vintage French or Belgian Linen from Libeco, a lovely ceramic spoon rest, and a brown sugar saver would make a beautiful hostess gift. I always wrap up each package, so it’s ready to be given as a gift or even if it’s for you! You can see more in this post.
Okay, it’s time to see what Cindy and Mary Ann found this week!

Cindy! You know those loafers might be perfect! They are unlined, which makes them so soft. I wore them the first day without taking off all day long!
Isn’t that article so sweet?

Could you share your source for this amazing fixture? Thank you and have a great Thanksgiving.
