Alexandrine’s French Pizza Recipe

We have been going to Chamaret now for four years and have become friends with our lovely hosts. One evening, they invited us for drinks and l’apéro. One of the dishes she made was the most delicious homemade pizza. We raved about it!
We love pizza in France. We discovered it at the local pizza place near Chamaret, in the village of Grignan. The French do make pizza with red sauce, but most of the time, it’s more of a white pizza that starts with créme fraiche. It’s always a thin, crispy crust, and typically some kind of ham (or jambon) is included.

On the morning we were leaving, Alexandrine came to say goodbye, and as a parting gift, she gave us her pizza recipe and one of the important ingredients–a jar of sweet Dijon. We could hardly wait to make it, and I thought how perfect to share on a Sunday! Recipe at the end!

Summer Candles & My Favorite Poplin Shirts from Quince
When I saw Quince had these gorgeous summer candles, I had to order a few. They make a perfect hostess gift and of course, I needed a few to use in my kitchen all summer. They smell delicious!
I wore these poplin shirts from Quince all over Provence and Paris. They wash beautifully. Give them a good shake and they didn’t even need ironing! And they are around $40!
What I’m getting my husband for Father’s Day!
The Tennis Court
This beautiful book came out in August of 2024, and somehow I missed it. Brent loves tennis, both watching and playing, and we are always fascinated by the beautiful tennis courts we see in our travels. “The Tennis Court is a photographic journey of the 200 most breathtaking tennis courts around the world.”
Stanley Water Bottle
A new water bottle like mine! These Stanley bottles are lightweight and have two ways of opening, so you can add ice.
Bose Headphone
I didn’t actually buy these for Father’s Day this year. But he does love these headphones. I might need a pair. So great for travel.
Let’s see what Mary Ann and Cindy found interesting this week!
