Update: Vesuvio Bakery is open! See this post for more!
Vesuvio Bakery is a must-stop in SoHo, New York. Isn’t this the perfect color of green for a shop? I love this little place on Prince Street in SoHo. I took this photo exactly one year ago and I keep forgetting to go back. I love everything about it, the lighting, the awning, the gold lettering on the windows, of course, the color green…it is most lovely, wouldn’t you agree?
Look at the old photographs of the iconic Flatiron Building in the window (to the left). I need to go back a take a closer look. When I did a search it looks as though it may be shuttered? Is this true?
I would agree that it looks extremely perfect! I love it!!
I’d certainly stop by and knowing me, would come out with a little bag of goodness.
This place looks adorable! : )
Love it! So charming like it’s from another time. The green is fab too. You always find the coolest spots Annie!
Have a good weekend!
xx Kim
Looks lovely and making me crave coffee and dessert!
I just saw a photo of that bakery last week for the first time, it’s beautiful I wish more shops had a bright livery like that.
“Yelp'” says its “permanently closed” ! A shame, if that’s true – it does look lovely……
annie this truly is a most lovely thing. you have such an eye. x
Reminds me of this store.

Supposedly it closed. Now there is another bakery in the same spot, who decided to keep the Vesuvio name on the store front. I will have to check it out next time I’m in the city! Great old storefront! Love your photos, Annie! Beautiful!
