Small Flower arrangments
Today is Good Neighbor Day. I have no idea how I know this stuff, but I happened to see it a few months ago and put it on my calendar. Mainly because I have the best neighbors and I wanted to let them know. I purchased a fall mixed bunch of flowers (my favorites….dahlias and zinnias) from the local farmer’s market and one bunch of roses from Costco. I added a few things from the garden including a little basil and thyme. Using salsa jars that I had removed the labels from, I added a piece of kraft paper tied up with bakers twine. I saw an arrangement this weekend while I was in Phoenix and that was my inspiration. You may have seen it on my instagram. It was from Camelback Flower Shop inside a wonderful restaurant, Chestnut Fine Foods.
If you didn’t reach out to your neighbors today, there’s still time. Some calendars list September 28th as National Good Neighbor Day.
These are so beautiful and what a great way to show your gratitude to your neighbors!
