Shop Most Lovely Things — A Little Bit of France, Just in Time for Christmas

We’ve just returned from two weeks in Paris, going to flea markets all over the city with a hopeful eye, searching for the pieces that make a home feel gathered, personal, and beautifully lived-in.
For Sunday favorites with Mary Ann and Cindy, I’m so happy to say that after four full days of washing, photographing, and listing almost 100 new items, the shop is open! Visit Shop Most Lovely Things here.

Shop Most Lovely Things has officially reopened—just in time for Christmas.
This shop is a curated collection of my favorite finds from Paris. Typically, we travel all over France visiting flea markets, but this time, every piece is from a Paris flea market. Each piece was handpicked—lifted off a wooden table at a bustling flea market on a Saturday morning, or chosen from a vendor whose family has been hunting for French antiques for generations.

What you’ll find

A collection full of character, including:
- Vintage cheese molds with weathered surfaces and endless styling possibilities
- French ashtrays—petite, graphic, and perfect as catchalls or used with a pillar candle.
- Amber glass bottles that add warmth and a gorgeous golden glow to any shelf
- Vintage jam jars—thick glass, old typography, and that unmistakable French charm
- Beautifully aged café bowls with worn edges, classic French graphics, and the perfect patina for styling shelves, displaying wrapped candy, or storing shallots and onions on the kitchen counter.
- Copper pieces with a rich, timeworn finish meant to be displayed as much as used
- French sauce boats (saucières) that elevate even the simplest table
- Small pitchers—perfect for flowers, cream, or a charming moment on a shelf
- Plates and platters gathered from markets across France, each with its own story
- Crocks in varying shapes and sizes, ideal for utensils, flowers, or everyday beauty
Every item is unique. Every piece carries a bit of history. And every find brings that effortless French sensibility into your home.
The joy of gifting something with a story

There’s something special about giving (or receiving!) a gift that already has a life behind it. A vintage piece carries meaning, character, and a sense of romance you can’t buy new. I hope that these French treasures bring joy to your holiday season—whether you’re gifting them or welcoming them into your own home.

Made to last
So many French vintage pieces have survived for decades because they were made from timeless, durable materials like porcelain, stoneware, and heavy glass—crafted to be used every day and built to last.
Thank you for being here
