I’ve always loved the Fourth of July…even when it’s in the middle of the week, it still means a little extra hang time. We used to enjoy every Fourth at the beach, but no matter where we are, brownies are always a part of dessert. A few years ago when I started to decorate my front door with a water-based Sharpie paint marker because of something I no doubt had seen on Pinterest…I thought why not replicate that design on a tray (or two) of brownies?
On a
glass door
create a
July 4th
Message
Our glass door from last year with a Sharpie Happy 4th greeting and this one from our first year at this house.
Decorate
Brownies
with a diy
stencil
And here’s what I did for two 8 x 8 trays of brownies:
And basically anything with a tiny flag qualifies as a festive dessert on July 4th! Like these whoopie pies Madeline made last year.
Add tiny

flags
to any
dessert
Make diy

hurricanes
So get out your scissors and cut out a stencil for your brownies. Are you following me on Pinterest? This board is all about USA!
These are some of my favorite patriotic ideas I found around the web!

I love this super simple idea of a bouquet of flags in a clear glass vase or jar that I saw on Design Mom last year.
