Charcuterie Cocktail Cups

We’ve been making charcuterie cups all summer, and finally I thought it was time to share them as Sunday favorites with Mary Ann and Cindy! The great thing about charcuterie cups is that you can use what you have on hand and whatever small cups, bowls, or dishes you have.
I love serving this way; little individual charcuterie cups are great for parties because everyone gets their own portion, and there’s no crowd hovering over one board.

What’s in a charcuterie cup?

Cured meats (cubed or rolled into bite-sized pieces)
- Salami or soppressata, diced
- Prosciutto, wrapped around melon cube
- Chorizo, diced
Cheese (cubed, small enough for one bite)
- Aged cheddar or gouda, cubed
- Comté cheese, cubed
- Manchego, cubed
- Fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini, or pearl)
- Marinated feta cubes
Something briny/pickled (cuts the richness)
- Cornichons or baby gherkins
- Marinated olives (pitted, so they’re pick-friendly)
- Pickled pearl onions
- Marinated artichoke hearts, quartered
Fruit (adds sweetness, balances the salt)
- Grapes
- Dried apricots or figs
- Melon balls (cantaloupe or honeydew pair well with prosciutto)
- Cherry tomatoes
Something crunchy/textural
- Marcona almonds or spiced pecans
- Small crostini, mini toasts, or crackers tucked in beside the rest
A little something sweet/sticky
- A small cube of honeycomb, or a drizzle of honey over the top
- A dollop of fig jam at the bottom of the cup before layering
What’s the best vessel to use for charcuterie cups?

Something you already own! I have two sets of these French stainless coupes, and we use them for everything! I’ll use them for a few homemade cheese crackers, or nuts, Goldfish crackers, or ice cream.
I’ve also made them use small Duralex Picadie cups. The colors really show through the glass. You could also use cocktail glasses or ramekins. It’s really what you already have in your cabinet.
More Sunday favorites
Can’t stop thinking about this table!

Mary Ann’s daughter, Alexandra, created the most inspiring tablescape using red hot chili peppers! And what they did with them after the dinner party was so cool, too! Make sure not to miss this post!
Have you tried setting spray for makeup?
I may be late to the party on this one, but when buying new makeup for Madeline’s big upcoming wedding, one of my concerns was how long it would last. I’ll have my makeup professionally done on Saturday, but the temple ceremony on Sunday starts with breakfast, then the ceremony, then lunch. So it will be a long day. I tried this setting spray, and it works well!
Outfit of the week

Left to right: Warby Parker Glasses (Putnam) // Gold Pave Diamond Earrings // Gold Paperclip Chain Necklace // Red Ballet Flats // GAP Big Shirt // Rag & Bone Featherweight Jeans // Mansur Gavriel Pleated Tote // Chanel #99 Lipstick
I really love these Big Shirts from GAP. They started out with just a few in the basic colors, and now they have stripes, denim, and still the basics. I wear them with everything. Sometimes buttoned up; other times, like a jacket over a tank. I love adding small details like a custom hand-stitched monogram. I’m keeping it simple with a gold paperclip chain necklace and gold pave studs from Quince.
Warby Parker
Always wearing my Warby Parker eyeglasses with progressive lenses and the sunglasses too! I use the in-house optometrist and order my glasses all in the same day! My glasses were delivered to my door, and then I stopped into my local Warby Parker for a minor adjustment! I mention Warby Parker a lot, but if you wear glasses or even just sunglasses, I could not recommend them more! My husband and I are both fans!
That’s it for me this week; let’s see what Cindy and Mary Ann Found!

Instructions
A good formula per cup: 1 meat + 1 cheese + 1 pickled/briny item + 1 fruit + a few nuts, maybe a toothpick through a folded salami slice as the “flag” on top. That gives you salty, tangy, sweet, and crunchy in one bite without overcrowding a small dish.

I love this appetizer as I often have all the ingredients and can mix up the serving cup. I pinned it!
How sweet of you to show Alie’s post. She had so much fun with it….which is the way it should be, right?
Also I love the red ballet flats and the glimpse of red from your tote. You look amazing. Have fun with Cindy!
I love the presentation of the charcuterie cups! What a great idea. You always have the best doable ideas Annie! Also the pops of red look great on you in your outfit! I told Cindy to give you a hug from me today! Can you give her one back from me too. I know you two are going to have the best time visiting! Enjoy! 🥰
Hi Kathy! We talked about you at lunch yesterday! Loved your interview on Cindy’s blog.

Annie! I’m all about your charcuterie cups. What a fun and clever idea and a perfect cocktail snack, or light lunch or dinner. I love them in both vessels … I’m definitely going to make these. Yum. Very exciting about the wedding. It will be a long day trying to keep makeup and hair in place and photo ready … setting spray will be just the thing. xo
Juliet! These make me think of your mini charcuterie boards! Not as portable when walking around, but so pretty!!
Annie Love your charcuterie cups. They are so appealing in the silver coupes! I think this is the nicest idea to give each person their own cup. I want to have people over just to make them.
Your outfit is great on you and I love the bag! What a great piece. Going to go check out Gap for the shirt! Max loves Warby Parker too! They have some great styles and nice service!
The wedding is going to be the most fun weekend! x
Kim! I can just see people walking around your patio/pool area with a charcuterie cup in hand…great music playing…your house is a vibe! Cannot wait to share your home tour!!
