Yesterday my friend Diane Karmen and I took a quick trip into the city to try a café we’ve been hearing about and to visit Change & Co., a design studio and home decor shop in Brooklyn by designer Susana Simonpietri. We left feeling inspired and I certainly felt like coming home and sprucing up my holiday decor. Chango & Co. is all about neutrals with a little black, but at Christmas, they had everything from a tree made of wooden dowels filled with creamy white hand-made ornaments, bottle brush trees in every hue and garland made of colorful wool felt. The small shop was filled with happy customers buying everything from a luxurious bath mat and towels to hand-made Christmas stocking and ornaments.

The garland made of old book pages hanging in the front window moved ever so slightly as the door opened and closed making it even more charming.

Loved the large pendants over the counter and the gallery wall with an interesting mix of art all in shades of black & white.
A different kind of Christmas tree for hygge lovers
A tree that seems to be constructed of wooden dowels and filled with handcrafted ornaments all in creamy whites and below, a basket filled with sheepskins for a hygge lover.

The wall hanging on the upper right side of the wall is made on a thick canvas with s simple graphic design and hung using large binder clips. I love the simplicity of it!
So many things to love in this shop. Like these chunky wooden black hearts!
