UASHMAMA® – Washable paper bags and other wonderful products designed and made in Italy. UASHMAMA® started with their original paper bags that were designed to be used as bread bags for the table. The bags are soft and yet resilient. They say the manufacturing process is similar to leather. The paper is stretched and tanned, making it durable enough to withstand washing and daily use.
The company is based in Tuscany and operated by husband and wife team, Marco and Emanuela and their four daughters, Chiara, Giulia, Gemma and Gaia.

The bags come in several sizes making them perfect for many uses from table top to organization in the kitchen, office or playroom. They have introduced other products like the Giulia Bag Lux, Roma Weekender Bag, wallets, lunch bags, placements, aprons to name a few.
I discovered their products while searching for the perfect laundry bag for my son going off to college. I wanted it large enough to hold a lot, but then light enough to carry when full of clothes. It also needed to be the right size for a small space. They have two types of laundry bags. They fold flat when not in use or for storage. They are rugged enough to stand on their own even when empty (which will rarely be the case)! The Positano bag is their newest laundry bag and has a draw string closure at the top. I love the design and will probably buy one for Madeline, but for Patrick—I went with their original style laundry bag. It’s tall and narrow. Of course I tested it to make sure it would fit two weeks worth of laundry and it did!
We chose the Oliva bag, but really all of the colors are gorgeous. I will be getting the Black, Grey and White for our laundry room. Each bag has a press stud interlocking system that allows the bags to be snapped together. The name tag is removable to easily add a name, word or dorm room number.
Their products are completely natural and can be used over and over again promoting sustainability. The colors are beautiful and remeniscent of the colors of Tuscany. Colors are like Oliva, Papavero, Camel, Caffè, Intrecciato, Quarzo, Toscana, Salvia…
This is a sponsored post by UASHMAMA®, but I can honestly say that I love the products and can’t wait to visit next time we go to Tuscany! They are located just outside the walls of Lucca in Montecatini. The colors of their products remind me of our travels to Tuscany. You can go right here to see more photos of the area. UASHMAMA® continues to expand their brand and I can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
