Sweet + Spicy Candied Nuts (A Simple Homemade Gift)

There’s something so simple yet special about showing up with a little homemade gift — and these sweet and spicy candied nuts are just the thing: easy to make, beautifully giftable, and absolutely irresistible. And, I thought the perfect thing to share on a Sunday post with Mary Ann and Cindy.

Favorite cashmere sweaters & how I care for them
Next week at this time, we will be in Paris for two weeks. I’ve already started packing and am bringing five, maybe six, cashmere sweaters—they are all from Quince! There are new ones, and others I’ve had for a few years. Cashmere is the first item I purchased at Quince. They are so luxurious and well-priced.
I love traveling in the colder months. It means fewer crowds and packing fewer clothes. I’ll be able to hang out my sweater each night on our tiny balcony and wear it again. You can read more about how I care for my cashmere in this post.
I bring a small continuous spray bottle, and fill it with a travel-size bottle of Vodka once we settle in at our hotel. Every night, I spray our sweaters with Vodka and hang them outdoors in the cool air for 30 minutes or so, and when I bring them inside, they smell fresh and clean!

I always travel with a pair of Gucci loafers, Birkenstock Boston Clogs, and a pair of Adidas Sambas. I rarely need more than these options, the way we travel. Each pair is super comfortable. If I can’t walk 10 miles in any shoe, then I never bring it for travel!
Travel Pants (Trousers) from Vuori
I have been on the hunt for a new pair of pants to wear on overnight flights. I want the comfort of leggings, but not the look of wearing leggings. Vuori has a couple of options. They are called trousers, which made me think right away that I had found what I was looking for. I settled on the Elevation Trouser in black. I also like the Miles Trouser.
