December 3rd is the first Sunday of Advent. I made the simplest Advent candle display using candles from Ikea and a tray from Terrain. I added a little moss from the stone walls on our property and as luck would have it, the wind blew tiny little pinecones all over the patio overnight, so I added those as well.
This is one from a few years ago. I used San Marzano tomato cans and the traditional candles in purple and one pink.
We had a lovely Thanksgiving weekend and now ready for the holidays in a big way! Hope you are too!

This is a lovely idea for Advent, but I believe the first Sunday of Advent is next weekend – you’re well-prepared and ahead of the game!
