A Mother’s Day gift guide that covers the thoughtful to the more practical of gifts. My kids used to always want to get me a Roomba for Mother’s Day. I mean what does that say about our family? Although now they work with Alexa, so who knows? You could draw all sorts of conclusions from that one…we never did get one, but that’s not to say I don’t appreciate practical gifts for mothers’s day.
A Mother’s Day Gift Guide
From a new pair of Birkenstocks to my new favorite cookbook: The Cook’s Atelier
My idea of practical is a new pair of Birkenstocks, a stack of new t-shirts in white, black, and gray that will last an entire year of everyday wear if I also receive a new bottle of this. For a slightly less practical t-shirt, I love this floral t-shirt from Rag & Bone. It’s perfect with a pair of jeans and throw a blazer over it and you have the perfect travel outfit.
A new fresh, citrus scent from Jo Malone and one for Madeline too. I love the orange blossom. It reminds me of Arizona and California in the Springtime.
I love this Fresh Brown Sugar Body Polish. I use it along with these two products and my skin has never felt so soft. You could also DIY this scrub, check out Mary Ann’s post here!
The Cook’s Atelier Cookbook is so beautiful. A Madeleine tin and sugar shaker would be a nice addition to the book and the perfect treat for Mother’s Day with coffee or tea.
An Aromatherapy Diffuser and collection of Essential Oils makes the perfect Mother’s Day gift. Read more about the benefits of aromatherapy and the options for diffuser and essentials oils here.
One last idea that does not fall under practical, but one that she would for sure love and perhaps bring back memories is a commissioned painting from Lizzy Love. Lizzy paints beautiful abstracts, abstract landscapes, and florals. She may have the right piece in her SHOP or send her a photo of a favorite place like we did.
