Maman, Β the lovely little coffee shop with the pretty patterned blue and white cups has opened a full service restaurant and Market right next door. MarchΓ© Maman is just as charming as you would expect. Β The Market is as if you are in a shop in the South of France. Β They offer products by French brands like Bastide, Jamini, Merci Bisous, bouquets by Flower Girl and ice cream by MilkMade. Β I never miss an opportunity to have a cappuccino if I’m in the vicinity of any of their shops, but now there’s even more of a reason to visit the original store on Centre Street in SoHo. Β They have quite a bit more seating and an outdoor patio with a full menu curated by Anna Watson Carl of The Yellow Table.

Caitlin from The Pickett Fence Projects took an Ikea play kitchen and updated it with floral wallpaper and even painted the faucet and hardware to look like brass. Β Remember Caitlin’s house I featured here, well she really worked her magic on this pretend kitchen for two lucky little girls.
Mary Ann from Classic Casual Home made this body scrub. Β It’s easy and inexpensive unlike this one and all you need are two items from Trader Joe’s! Β Its perfect for end of summer.
The 10 Coolest Neighborhoods in the World – Well I’m always interested in knowing something like this. Β Madeline and I visited the Vesterbro Neighborhood on our trip to Copenhagen last Spring. I wrote about it here. Sunset Park, Brooklyn also made the top 10 list.
I ordered a pair of Β green plantersΒ that are on sale at Serena & Lily. Β I can’t wait to plant some white mums in them for my front porch. Β I post my front porch and door so much on Instagram I thought I had better make a few changes. Β I also ordered the Tilda Outdoor PillowΒ and the Border Frame Pillows for our hanging chair that we painted black from Serena & Lily.
When it feels like we have nothing in the house for dinner and especially when we return from a trip, we have Cacio e Pepe. Β I always have the simple ingredients for this and it’s the ultimate comfort food. Β The best recipe I’ve tried is this one from Bon AppΓ©tit.

so much goodness in this post annie! i adore the ikea play kitchen makeover. you know i have to do that for my grandaughter. my cardboard box is lookin pretty shabby next to that! altho it is the first thing she runs to when she walks in the door:)
