My kids always ask, “what do you want for Mother’s day?” and I always say, “Just your love.” and the thing is I truly mean that. I think moms for generations have had this same conversation with their children. When my daughter (age 17) says to me, “Mom, why are you so nice to me?” or my son (age 13) ever since he was little says, “Mom, you’re the best mom that could eve be a mom.”…that’s all I want.Thank you my darling Madeline and Patrick. You make my job easy! Happy Mother’s Day to all those celebrating with their moms or children.
Your kids sound just wonderful. I hope MY mother doesn’t read this.
Happy Mother’s Day!
You have beautiful children and the relationship sounds exactly as it should be.
Have a wonderful Mother’s Day!
So true – just their love!! It really is the best thing in the world to take care of these special people and when they tell us that we are “the best mom” – gosh it means everything!
I hope you had a fabulous Mother’s day with your wonderful kiddos!
