Custom Embosser // Custom Stamp // Obvious State Literary Postcards // Classic Novel Greeting Cards // Enamel Book Pins //Jane Mount Custom Painting or Print // Wood Book Ends // Mountain Peak Book Ends // Marble Book Ends
A custom stamp
Both my sister and Madeline have a huge stack of books are always offering them to friends. I know Madeline still likes to keep track of her books, so a “from the library of” stamp is the perfect gift. It could also be a good couple gift or family gift using last name.
Postcards & Note cards
Everyone needs a box of note cards and what’s better for a book lover than these from Obvious State? Or perhaps a pack of Classic Novel Greeting Cards or these Bibliophile Notecards from Jane Mount.
Enamel Pins
Enamel book pins – add your favorite book in the way of an enamel pin to your jean jacket or tote bag.
A Custom painting by Jane Mount
A custom painting from Jane Mount – I’m not sure how we first met Jane Mount, but when Madeline graduated from high school we gave her the gift of a custom painting of her favorite books. Madeline carefully selected the books she wanted to be represented in the painting and then took a photo and sent it to Jane. Jane painted each book spine in the order that Madeline chose and it remains her most treasured gift. We once again gave her this gift when she graduated from college. The next painting will be books Madeline read in her first years in New York. Books shape our lives and what’s better than a custom painting with your favorite books?
Or order a custom print from Jane
Or you can order a custom print by Jane. For $105 you select from a large list of books organized in a spread sheet. Choose up to seven books and then you can further customize it by selecting book orientation. Do you want them lined up on a shelf or are you imagining them in a stack? Don’t see the book on her extensive list…ask and for a little more, she’ll paint it and add it. Orders for Christmas must be placed by December 14th.
Book Ends
Book Ends – With so many books, it’s only natural you’ll need a set of book ends and with so many options, there’s something for every book lover. Wood, Mountain Peaks, or Marble Columns?

Annie you have reminded me of so many good ideas. From the library of …love that I haven’t done that for a long time. I am going to order for Summer. That book light is great (so you don’t keep others awake). I have to come back and revisit this when Summer goes down for her nap.
