Discovering Quince: Affordable Luxury for Everyday Living

| |

I’m joining Cindy and Mary Ann to share our favorites from the brand Quince. When it comes to new clothing, or items for our home–I want pieces that feel timeless, beautiful, and made to last, and at incredible prices. As an outfit repeater, I find that I am constantly wearing the same shirts, sweaters, skirts, and pants from Quince.

If you haven’t heard of Quince yet, they’re a direct-to-consumer brand founded on a simple yet refreshing idea: luxury doesn’t have to mean expensive. By streamlining their production and selling directly to customers, they’re able to offer incredibly well-made pieces at prices that feel fair. Think cashmere sweaters, Italian leather, fine jewelry, luggage… all at a fraction of what you’d expect to pay.

And here’s the best part: everything I’ve ordered has exceeded my expectations.

A few of our favorite travel items from Quince

We travel a lot, and Quince luggage has been a part of our travel for the last couple of years. So I thought I would share the travel-related items that we have used on multiple trips. We keep adding pieces, so I think that’s a good sign that we love our Quince suitcases, toiletry bags, compression packing cubes, and travel tote so much that we keep adding to the list.

Carry-on and Check-in Suitcases

We started with one Expandable Carry-on Suitcase, then the Expandable Large Check-In Suitcase. We loved it so much for safely bringing back our treasure for the shop that we ordered another one! An ultra-light, check-in-ready bag with a super sturdy polycarbonate shell.

Transit Quilted Cary-All Tote – I replaced a worn-out tote with this one a few months ago, and it’s exactly what I was looking for. It features a luggage-handle sleeve on the back, complete with a bottom zipper and a snap closure, allowing it to be used as a slip pocket when not in use with a suitcase. Once you get used to this feature, it’s really hard to travel without that luggage sleeve to keep your tote in place on top of your carry-on. It slips on and off easily. It’s so annoying when you don’t have that sleeve, and your tote that’s resting on top of your suitcase, falls off when you are walking through a crowded airport.

Toiletry Kits

I have the Italian Leather Travel Cosmetic Case, and it’s very structured, which is what I like about it. It keeps everything in its place, and somehow it has just what I need in terms of space. My husband has been using this one, which is also a gorgeous leather, but it is less structured and can be wedged into a suitcase much more easily. He likes the Nappa Leather Toiletry Bag for that reason, and I like to make sure my lotions and potions don’t leak.

Space-saving compression packing cubes & Luggage tags

Eco-Compression Packing Cubes – They save space; each packing cube can be compressed by 60%. Especially helpful in carry-on bags. Plus, everything stays more organized.

We do need some luggage tags. (As you can see, we’ve been using the paper airline tags). These Nappa leather Baggage Tags come in a set of two and are available in a choice of eight colors.

Quince cashmere

Some of my favorites still include the original Mongolian Cashmere Crewneck Sweater, which is still only $50. It comes in 13 colors! Wear it layered over a crewneck tee like this one (similar style to Rag & Bone, but priced at $19.90 instead of $90), or on its own. Of course, since it’s 100% cashmere, it’s super soft and not at all scratchy on the skin.

I love a cardigan too! This Cashmere Oversized Boyfriend Cardigan Sweater is a favorite. I wear it all the time. I would suggest buying a size down. The fit is generous. It comes in eight colors!

My husband loves the Quarter-Zip Sweaters. He has all three colors in the smooth cashmere. He can layer a button-down or a t-shirt under them comfortably. They are great for travel. We bring a small spray bottle of Vodka and, at the end of the day, spray our sweaters. If possible, we hang them outdoors in the cold air. Freshens them right up!

You can read more about how I take care of my sweaters in this post: How to Wash and Care For Cashmere.

He also loves the Mongolian Fisherman Cashmere Quarter Zip, too! And I often borrow them to wear with a midi skirt. They are a bit chunkier than the regular quarter zip, but just as soft and comfortable.

Leather jackets

One of those pieces that instantly elevates an outfit. It’s soft, structured, and looks far more expensive than it is. Quince offers at least 12 different styles of leather jackets specifically designed for women. All 100% leather and priced $250 or less.

The one I chose is the 100% Leather Oversized Bomber Jacket. The black jacket had been out of stock since the previous season, so when I was notified that it was back in stock, I purchased it immediately. It’s gorgeous. I am 5’10” and wearing a medium. I would definitely size down. I love that I can wear chunky sweaters under it and it still feels comfortable.

Other jackets I like are this Leather Motorcycle Jacket. Although it’s too cropped for me, I can see the appeal. It comes in seven colors! I ordered this Italian Suede Trucker Jacket in dark chestnut for my husband – I know I’ll be borrowing this one!

Everyday Jewelry

14K Gold Paperclip Chain Necklace // 14K Gold Freshwater Cultured Pearl Bracelet // 14K Gold Lab Grown Diamond Bezel Necklace // 14K Gold Tube Hoops

Their 14K Gold Paperclip Chain is such a versatile piece—I wear it with just about everything. And the Acetate Apple Watch band? It turns a practical accessory into something that feels polished and pulled together for $29.

The charm necklace is from KOZAKH Use code: Anniediamond20 for 20% off any KOZAKH piece.

This 14K Gold Lab Grown Diamond Bezel Necklace is a beautiful everyday piece. The chain is adjustable with jump rings at 16″, 17″, and 18″.

Crossbody Bags

Streamlined, practical, and just the right size for everyday and travel. Quince has so many styles and colors to choose from. Mary Ann and I both have this one. I have this crossbody bucket bag in leather. It seems they are sold out in all colors at the moment, but I also love it in suede. It’s the perfect size and shape.

This Italian Pebbled Leather Sling bag is great for travel, going into the city, and events like the U.S Open.

Bedding

Another great product from Quince is its bedding, which includes sheets, coverlets, blankets, and quilts. Quince prices are a fraction of what I’ve spent at other retailers for bedding, and they have more color options.

I love that Quince is intentional about how they source materials and work with manufacturers—building in transparency and sustainability wherever possible. It feels good to support a company that is rethinking how we shop, making style more accessible without compromising on quality.

If you’ve been curious about Quince, consider this your sign. Start with something you know you’ll wear or use every day—like a sweater, bag, or piece of jewelry—and see for yourself. I have a feeling you’ll be hooked, too.

  1. Our families seem to like many of the same products. You have encouraged me to order that travel case and the cubes (mine are terrible). I recently ordered that quilted tote and I love it too!

    1. Don’t you love that luggage sleeve? Once you have it, you cannot go back to a regualr tote! And btw, they do have those gingham sheets in twin size! I think I read that on your post today that you wished they came in twin?
