I made this sweet little wreath using foraged birch twigs and moss! It’s the perfect size for my pantry door! You could also buy birch twigs, but when I have a huge tree in my neighborhood that drops these twigs in the path to the beach…how could I not pick them up! I had these fiber pots for seeds and thought how cute they could be as little Easter candy baskets. And then I can use them to plant some seeds…so eco-friendly.

To make them, cut slits around the perimeter about 1” apart. Then go back and round the edge to make a scalloped edge.

Everyone loves a scallop these days.

I added a copper wire handle and filled each cup with a little basket filler and some candy eggs.

First order of business for spring: refresh the fr

First order of business for spring: refresh the front porch with a little help from @shopterrrain. I’m using an assortment of their fiber concrete barrel pots. Two tall ones at the front door with Pussy Willows and a little foraged moss covering the soil.

An arrangement in an empty corner of the porch features three sizes filled with a simple boxwood, an Arborvitae Whipcord evergreen and a hellebore. The plants are long lasting with just few pansies in the extra-small pot.

And nothing says a change of season like this gorgeous new windowpane jute doormat. Walking up to my front door now gives me an extra spring in my step! Have you planned your spring entryway yet?
