Maple Bourbon Pecans for Holiday Gifts

If you’re looking for something to give at the holidays when you meet up with a friend for coffee, when your guests leave after a dinner party, or perhaps as neighborly gifts, I have just the thing! A little wooden berry basket with a nut bowl filled with maple bourbon pecans.
At the holidays, when you’re already busy, these are the perfect little gifts to have on hand. You can make a batch ahead and assemble as needed. Your guests can save them to add to a cheese board or just to have out on the bar when serving drinks.
The recipe is simple, and since there are very few ingredients, quality matters, which is why I am using pecans from The Peach Truck. They are so fresh and delicious, just like the peaches I couldn’t stop talking about all peach season. Read more in these posts: Brown Butter Peach Shortbread Bars or Peach Tomato & Burrata Salad.
The recipe for maple bourbon pecans is at the bottom of the post after links to Mary Ann and Cindy’s Sunday Favorites Post!
Here’s what you’ll need for the pecans

More Sunday Favorites
As we start thinking about our next chapter, our new apartment in the city, I can’t help but get excited about making a few changes. We have beautiful lamps, but lamp styles change over the years, and it’s a fairly simple, relatively low-cost upgrade.
Kim (Northern California Style) recently found a pair of lamps at Home Goods. I hadn’t been to Home Goods in years, but the other day I was looking for a basket for the photo shoot, and while I was there, of course I had to check out the lamps. I saw a pair I loved, but I feel like it’s too early to make purchases for the new place!
Ceramic Table Lamps from Rejuvenation

I also like these lamps in the shorter style, but it’s nice to have options for your space. Both colors are gorgeous.
Printed Sheets & Bed Basics

I always buy my bed basics like pillows and cotton pillow protectors from The Company Store. And they are on sale! Then there’s nothing cozier than small prints on things like sheets and wallpaper. These washed-cotton percale bedsheets from The Company Store are so pretty, and I love the caramel stripe. They come in three colors.
Toggle Light Switches
I have wanted to swap out all the light switches in our current house, but we have so many that I never got around to it. Moving to an apartment in the city is making me glad I waited for this project. I love this classic toggle switch design.
