DIY Perfume Rollers Using Essential Oils
It’s easy to make perfume using essential oils!

I love to use essential oils to make perfumer rollers, and Valentine’s Day is the perfect excuse to buy some fun roller bottles and make some cute labels. You can customize the blends with all different essential oils, from earthy scents like Patchouli to floral-like Rose and Jasmine. Other popular oils to use for perfume rollers are citrus oils mixed with basil. For my Valentine rollers, I used a combination of several oils. I used Ylang Ylang, Tangerine, Orange, Rose, Geranium, and Bergamot, and I am calling it Grace, inspired by Brooke of Nesting with Grace.

I made tiny heart labels using a heart-shaped craft punch and a fine-tip marker. The sticker paper is Avery address labels that I had on hand. While the labels are not professional looking, I think they add a home-made touch, which I was going for with this project. Not too perfect, but pretty like a gift.

Homemade Valentine’s in any form is the best!

Use what you have on hand to make charming tags

I used a heart-shaped craft punch and Avery mailing labels to create one-of-a-kind heart-shaped tags. The important thing to remember to do when making a small tag like this is to not try and make it too perfect. Intentionally draw broken lines to create a heart frame and then write a name or a word and remember to keep your pen straight up while writing. This is a tip I learned from artist Patricia van Essche.
