Hi, I’m Annie diamond and I recently moved back to Connecticut from Southern California. I’ve lived in quite a few places, specifically all the states that start with “C’ and a few others. I live with my husband and two children and wherever we live, I enjoy making our home beautiful. We love to explore the areas where we live in addition to places that are far away. I’m always on the lookout for great design, usually, the simpler the better.
I have degrees in journalism and teaching, but for the last several years I have worked at home on lots of projects both big and small.
My current project is renovating a little house built in 1900. We purchased the home a year before relocating although I didn’t actually see the house until last July 4th weekend. Sometimes that’s just the way it works. My husband was in Manhattan on business when the house came on the market so he went to look at it. It met our requirements—walking distance to town/train, old, charming, at least three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Photos and emails were exchanged and we purchased it the next day.
When I’m not at home painting, making something, digging in the dirt or calling the plumber I’m out and about exploring new things. I am inspired by everything I see.
As of late, you’ll find me wandering the streets of New York exploring coffee shops all over the city.
All photography is by me…if you would like to use an image, please contact me and we’ll work something out. Thanks! firstname.lastname@example.org
