Apple & Cheese Frico

A delicious combination of apple and cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • one cup grated cow’s milk cheese (we used an aged fontina)
  • one honeycrisp apple, cored and sliced very thin
  • olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a non-stick frying pan
  2. Sprinkle the cheese evenly to cover the bottom of the pan
  3. Layer the apples on top of the cheese
  4. Let the cheese completly melt. When the color becomes golden brown and it’s a little crunchy, carefuly fold over in half and slide onto a plate.
  5. Enjoy while still hot!
