The best tahini chocolate chip no-bake protein balls are my new favorite! What took me so long to discover using tahini over peanut butter?

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats

  • 1 cup Tahini

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

  • 2 scoops of vanilla protein powder

  • 1/4 cup or 4 tablespoons of mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Start by blending the rolled oats in a food processor until almost powdery.

  2. In a large bowl, add the Tahini, maple syrup, and protein powder, and blend until the mixture is combined. If it seems a little dry, add a teaspoon of water and blend again. Add more water slowly until you have the consistency that molds into a ball without crumbling.

  3. Mix in the mini chocolate chips. Use a small cookie scoop and then roll them into balls. Place them in an airtight container and store them in the fridge.

     

Notes

Tahini works really well because of the runny consistency. It blends well and very little extra water is needed. The consistency is very smooth. They are good with or without chocolate chips.
