ABOUT ME

I’m Annie Diamond, the creator of the lifestyle blog Most Lovely Things, where I share my timeless approach to home design, entertaining, travel, and thoughtful seasonal living. I’m known for my signature mix of modern simplicity and rustic charm, and I find beauty in the everyday—from the warmth of a handmade gift to the elegance of a well-loved home.

My husband Brent and I have been married for 39 years, and we have two grown children, ages 31 and 27, who both live in New York City. Over the years, I’ve turned every home we’ve lived in (10 total in 7 different cities) into a creative project. In the early days, before cell phones, I used to shop on Montana Avenue in Santa Monica and La Brea Boulevard in Los Angeles. If I found a piece of furniture I liked, I would sketch it, and Brent would figure out a way to build it. It was during the peak of the Shabby Chic era, so it didn’t have to be perfect.

From sketching and building custom furniture to renovating our current 1920s coastal New England home just outside New York City, my love of design and detail is at the heart of my work, inspiring readers to create with meaning and intention.

My work has been featured in Better Homes & Gardens, Good Housekeeping, Cottages & Bungalows, Country Living, and The Spruce, among other major publications and websites. My approachable style and eye for detail have earned Most Lovely Things a devoted following of readers who turn to me for ideas and inspiration that celebrate beauty in simple, everyday moments.

In 2027, I’ll be publishing my first book with Quarto Publishing Group—a collection of 100 recipes centered around gifts from the kitchen, inspired by the same thoughtful, seasonal approach I share on Most Lovely Things.

When I’m not styling a cozy corner or baking something to share, I’m often traveling through France, where Brent and I scour countryside flea markets and Parisian brocantes for inspiration and one-of-a-kind treasures.
