Dark chocolate melted with a bit of water and whisked over an ice bath until it turns silky smooth.

Ingredients

Scale
  • one 3.5-ounce bar of dark chocolate
  • 2.5 ounces water
  • ice
  • small (tiny) cups

Instructions

  1. Chop the chocolate and add it to a small pan with the water and melt slowly. Remove from the heat and pour into a bowl.
  2. Place the bowl over a larger bowl of ice and whisk until it thickens. Make sure not to over-whisk. You’ll know it’s ready when you can pour it into small cups.
  3. Add a little Maldon sea salt or chocolate shavings and place them in the refrigerator, or eat right away!

Notes

If you over-whisk the chocolate and it gets too thick, do not worry. Melt and then begin again, making sure to whisk to the point that the chocolate can be poured into the tiny cups.
