Herbes de Provence Salt

Make one or several to give as small gifts! 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flaky sea salt
  • 1/4 cup herbes de Provence (or the herbs that make up the spice mixture)

Instructions

  1. In a spice or coffee grinder, add 1/2 of the salt and pulse a few times. Add to a bowl.
  2. Add the other half and pulse until the salt is much finer than the first batch. Add to the bowl.
  3. Pulse the herbes de Provence in batches as well. You don’t want to pulse it too fine.
  4. Add the salt and spices and stir to combine. Divide into jars and add a little of the Herbes de Provence that has not been pulsed on top of each jar. (Just so the recipient can see the blend).
  5. Store in an airtight jar.
