Sometimes the simplest ingredients make the best tartine!

Ingredients

  • Two slices of rustic bread
  • Two tablespoons salted butter at room temperature
  • One chocolate bar (For two servings, you’ll only use about a quarter of the bar, tops)

Instructions

  1. Toast the bread on both sides, buttered for extra decadence on one side.
  2. Spread a thick layer of softened butter on one side and shave the chocolate right on top using a vegetable peeler.
