Over the next few weeks I’ll be joining Mary Ann of Classic . Casual . Home and Cindy of Rough Luxe Lifestyle and a group of bloggers with our tips on how to create a gallery wall. I have always admired the look of gallery or collage walls, but it wasn’t until my current home that I actually created one. I’ve been collecting images on my Pinterest board, Beautiful Walls and Art for a couple of years and that has been a source of inspiration. Before Pinterest I collected ideas in a binder full of magazine pages showing beautiful rooms featuring gallery walls. I’m really looking forward to seeing the how to of creating a gallery wall next week because for every picture I hang….there are about five or six nail holes behind each one. There has to be an easier way! Below is a list of bloggers that will be posting their ideas.
My sister Lynn’s wall of crosses that she has been collecting for years. This is only about 1/8 of her collection.
Wow, wow, wow…this is amazing and can’t believe how beautifully they are put together…gorgeous!
Your gallery walls are among my favorite regardless of how many holes it takes to get there. Looking forward to following you talented ladies.
Your sister Lynne’s wall is lovely! I am so happy you joined us and can’t wait to see what you come up with! Have fun with Maryanne!!
Cindy,
I am thrilled to have been asked! Thank you!

I would love to meet your sister sometime…love her collection… it’s stunning. Looking forward to seeing you!
Mary Ann, I was just telling my sister that I get to see you this week….oh how I wish she could join us!
Hi Anne, nice to meet you via this project. Your sister’s collection of crosses is beautiful, I had one in my old home and it created such a peaceful energy. I look forward to seeing your ideas for your gallery wall.

Hello Anne! If that is only an eighth of your sister’s collection, I cannot imagine how many she must have! Amazing and beautiful. I am right there with you on the many nail holes behind the items on the wall. I am at the other end of the spectrum from my husband who wants to measure for the placement of every single item on the wall. Looking forward to seeing your finished project.
I think your husband may be onto something! Measuring? I’ve heard of it! I prefer to eye ball it, which explains the 76 holes in my wall!
Annie, I love collections of like objects together. I am working on my own wall by framing and hanging black and white photos of family members. Like you…I am eyeballing it and usually have to place the picture multiple times before getting it “just right”. I know I have said this before, but I love your sister’s collection of crosses. I have been collecting crosses for a while and many are not hung up because I don’t know quite how to display them. Both you and Lynn have inspired me! Looking forward to seeing your latest project. ~Happy Monday!
Love those crosses and yes….I have many holes in my walls also. It’s irritating right?
Annie I love these crosses. Beautiful! I am working on a gallery wall of garden themed images in my dining room right now. I’m looking forward to seeing what all you ladies do! You all have amazing taste! Kim
