This year I set up a Christmas desk for writing cards . . .
I love ordering our Christmas cards– I love writing them and I love receiving holiday cards. Especially the ones with photos! Whether you send them through the mail or digitally is whatever works for you. The one thing I did this year to make it a little easier is to set up a small desk in my living room where I can write cards. If I get home and find that I have 10 or 15 minutes I can just head over to my desk and pick up where I left off. It has made world of difference this year. I’m not sure why it took me so long to do it this way. I remember years ago I said to my friend while walking one morning, “Wow, I can’t believe you have all your cards out already!” And her reply was that she sent them out in batches. Since I’m a D for Diamond I was in an early batch.
I love Tinyprints Shutterfly holiday cards. Each year I select one that works for the photo we chose. Since Madeline and Patrick are both away we had to find a few minutes over Thanksgiving. I took several and then uploaded to the tinyprints website. I love how easy it is to upload your photos and see your photo in every design. It makes it so easy and fun! We went with the Contemporary Greeting card and chose red envelopes with a black and white check lining. This was our card last year from tinyprints.Tinyprints makes it so easy to order cards and customer service agents are very knowledgable if you need a little extra help. They’re offering 30% off everything and 50% off Super Rush Delivery. Use the code MERRYMERRY. Offer ends today!
It’s snowing so it seems like the perfect day to finish up our cards. The desk is set up so that it has a perfect view of the television–which means I may or may not be watching The Holiday while addressing cards today! Hope you are having a great week and getting everything on your list checked off!
