Individual S’mores

S’mores are messy and sticky..so for a grown up version, we’ve made them in individual Lodge cast iron pans. For some reason, dare I say…they taste even better this way!

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to broil
  2. Layer about a 1/4 cup of chocolate chips into the bottom of each cast iron pan
  3. Top generously with mini marshmallows
  4. Put under the broiler just until the tops of the marshamallows start to brown. Do not walk away, this takes only a minute or two.
  5. Serve with graham crackers that you’ve quartered using the scored lines that will instantly take you back to kindergarten snack time. All that’s missing is a tiny carton of milk.
  6. Serve Immediately! Enjoy!

Notes

If you don’t have individual Lodge pans (although I bought mine last year and I’ve used them a dozen times at least), you could use a regualr size Lodge cast iron skillet and serve family style.

These can be made ahead and put under the broiler right before you are ready to serve. It’s the quickest and easiest dessert!
