I’m trying this again…Elizabeth (The Mustard Ceiling) led me to this post...where I learned that I needed to re-size my photos before uploading them to my blog. If you think this information might help you, read it here.
I’m joining Jane at her blog, SmallButCharming for “Flowers in the House” today. Last Monday I had lots of flowers, but this week I have only a few Sweet Peas that are growing wild in San Juan Capistrano. I would have more if I had not noticed the sign warning of rattle snakes….my imagination ran wild as I grabbed a few from the edges of the hillside. I came home, put them in water, set the table, lit a few votive candles…it really is the little things….you know?

so lovely annie. last week while hiking i came across a rattlesnake lying in the middle of the trail. i was so freaked out and was about ready to turn back when he just slithered into the bushes. and if that wasn’t enough, i came home and a red fox was in our front garden. i’ve never seen a fox out of captivity and he was beautiful. i guess it’s that time of year. xo janet
Annie!! Such beautiful photos and flowers I’m glad you found the patience to try try try again.
It is the little things, well the little things and the Moroccan tea glasses…..

Oh how I love sweet peas! Braving rattlesnakes is worth it. I’m with Jane on the Moroccan tea glasses…
From a beautiful field of sweet peas at San Juan Capistrano, to a lovely Pretty in Pink table setting! ! Your idea’s are the best!
Oh sweet peas, my favourite. I can’t believe you have access to them growing wild – a scene so very far removed from my house! Love Moroccan tea glasses too – they lend themselves to flowers so well.
Your sweet peas are just the sweetest.
The field of sweet peas is magical!

I’ve never seen sweet peas growing in the wild – how charming! Sweet peas are some of our very favorite flowers and we love their delicate nature and pretty colors.

I think I know where that is! I actually ran into a rattlesnake while hiking at Crystal Cove the other day! Be careful!
