rainy saturday

Saturday, January 11, 2014

It’s a good thing I love weather because we have all kinds.  When we lived in California it seemed almost too perfect.  It was 73 degrees and sunny.  A lot.  I still have Dana Point weather on my weather app and look at it all the time for reasons I cannot explain.  But THIS is what it looks like right now.  Putting on my 12 year old Hunter rain boots, my new Patagonia rain jacket and going to go out and enjoy it.  Happy Saturday!

rain, rainy weather, heart drawn on misty window

oh! that sounds so wonderful and looks so cozy! we have not had enough rain here in CA this fall/winter, and I would love a little of that!

    (love your blog!)

I live in Dana Point and after my husband and I visited NYC for the first time in November, I put New York weather on my app! We fell in love with the city! I love seeing your pics and am constantly dreaming of when we can go back again! You’re right, we can’t complain here in DP about the weather, it’s beautiful, but what fun to have seasons where you are!

I do love the seasons we have living on the east coast, but I must say when I see photos of CA and Dana Point specifically….I get a little pang in my heart, you know?

I totally agree Annie. Even though Texas doesn’t have the true seasons that you have, we at least expereince changing weather. I have loved being able to wear sweaters and rain boots. I got really bored with 72 and sunny in CA. And I think having seasons makes us appreciate the next season.

I wish we lived closer, I would love going for a walk in the rain together. Coffee shops are the perfect destination on wet days!

Agreed… the four seasons makes life unpredictable and exciting! Love the trench coat!!!

The heart is wonderful! I am missing weather so much I could cry! It’s been so hot and dry lately, every fiber of my being is crying out for rain, snow, wind, whatever!!
