This is the easiest cookie to make and yet it continues to be a favorite. I only make them at Christmas….I don’t know why. I made them yesterday and when these are baking in the oven…they smell amazing. Eating them warm right out of the oven with a glass cold milk is the best, but the next day…pretty good too! I use the recipe my mom used from the Betty Crocker Cookie Book. I found it here.
I packaged up a few for my neighbors in these votive holders from Ikea and the rest will be gone this afternoon!
