Bedford is everything you would picture it to be…rolling hills, stone walls, wildlife, barns and all very beautiful covered in snow. We started our morning with breakfast at The Barn at Bedford Post. I first heard of the Bedford Post on Pinterest and had to check it out since it is less than 30 minutes from home. Bedford Post is a quaint luxury inn owned by Richard Gere and Carey Lowell. It has beautiful grounds, two restaurants and a yoga center. For midweek in a sleepy little town like Bedford, the restaurant and yoga class were both quite busy. This would be the perfect place to get snowed in for a few days.

It looks absolutely beautiful there. So cozy. Thank you for sharing your pics!
Annie your photos (as usual) are stunning. Any one of them could be a postcard or beautiful art in a room. And what an adorable little town….how lucky you are to have such pretty places so close to home. Thanks for sharing these beauties!
Have a great weekend!
Wow,wow, wow! How utterly magical, the inn looks great too, really laid back and easy.
Bedford and all of Westchester is stunning. Who would know it’s a stones throw from Manhattan, right?
Congats to Mad on hearing where she shall be heading. I loved Bucknell when we toured it with our twins.
There is a great blogger who might still be there or may have graduated. I will find her blog name…..

*sigh*, everything reminds me of home. Annie you’re photography is professional quality.
I know…when I’m here I miss California and when I was in California I missed the east coast.
Pretty, pretty, pretty. I think that’s the place that Martha and I rode our horses for lunch one day. It’s was charming.
Beautiful photos Annie! You make me want to drop it all and go visit! And I do need a getaway!
The perfect retreat and so close to your home too! What a wonderful way to begin the long weekend! Your beauitful pictures look like a Food & Wine Magazine lay-out!!
I wish you could teach me how to photograph like you do. Gorgeous.
Very lovely photos! Yes, this would be the perfect place to get snowed in. The breakfast looks quite yummy, too!
Beautiful pictures Annie! As usual you make me green with envy. One question. Do you shoot your photos with a regular camera or your phone? I am always hesitant to start shooting in places because some establishments do not like you taking pictures (i.e. Anthropologie). Just if you ask first or just whip out the equipment.
Thanks for sharing!
