a new light fixture

Sunday, January 13, 2013

Last week while in the city I was walking on Broadway from SoHo back to Grand Central and came upon a lighting store.  This store had everything when it comes to lighting and they were incredibly helpful.  In fact, they offered to make my new lamp right there while I watched.   So for about $20 Madeline has a new little light that hangs in the corner of her sun room above her printer.  I love that these little stores still exist.  They had great stuff like aluminum shades in different sizes and shapes and cloth covered electrical cord for $2 a foot.  And of course they had every kind of light bulb imaginable.  You’ll find Lighting Plus at 680 Broadway in NYC. Annie that is so cute! I agree…love that little stores like that still exist….so fun and different. That light looks like a lot more than $20….would be many times that price at some of my favorite stores (cough-anthropologie-cough). Very cool.

Have a great day….we’re freezing here in LA!

That’s very cooo. I’m envious that you can so easily just run in to New York to have access to all it has to offer.

Madeline’s new light is so darn fun! What a good eye you have for finding the coolest things! Thanks for the tip so we too can support this one of a kind shop to help keep their doors open!

How nice to happen upon a little store like that! And to be able to see them make it right before you! It looks GREAT in her sun room and that gallery wall is fabulous!! xo
