The start of a new year…today it’s cold and the ground is covered in snow.  It seems fittingly perfect for New Years Day.  I am one to believe that it’s a good idea to start the new year fully recharged…and for us, that usually means someplace warm with tropical breezes.  We spent a week soaking up the sun in Montego Bay and are back ready to embrace the new year.  The holiday decorations are stored away and the tree that was never trimmed has been placed out on the terrace.  The great thing about vacation is that for a moment, your life seems like everything is perfectly in place and you can take on the world with your new sense of energy.  Oh…one more thing…Jane is having a FITH (flowers in the house)party and I always try to make a showing.  This time, those well behaved paper whites were just starting to bloom when we arrived home. IMG_9863 IMG_9683 IMG_9694IMG_9704Happy New Year!

Happy New Year Annie! I’m so jealous looking at those photos of the sun, surf and sand. It’s sunny here, but cold for California standards (45-50 degrees). I was just saying to John today that we need to plan a warm and beachy vacation soon. It’s been a while, and I just want to put my feet up and relax in the warm sun with a drink or two :) I’m loving the photo of your paperwhites and all that fresh snow in the backdrop. It looks super cozy and peaceful and I could honestly just stare out that window of yours all day.

I’m so LOVING the beautiful dish that you sent me. I have it on my bedside table and it’s the perfect place to rest my favorite jewelry that I take off before bed each night. Every time I look at it I smile, and think of my friend Annie! Thanks again for the thoughtful and beautiful gift! Have a wonderful night with your family and again Happy New Year!
    xoxo,
    Jackie

Oh Annie I’m so glad you came to the party. That window looks lovely and I love all the white pots planted up all so different yet all the same.

Your vacation pictures are envy inducers, but I love you anyway.

    Happy New Year.

Looks like you must have had such a great trip…the colors are so beautiful. I am already sick of looking at snow and it has only been a week or so of it ha.

    Happy New Year Annie!!!

Oh, that beautiful blue water! While it has been sooo good to all be at home and just be together, once January comes I begin to dream of our “kick off summer” week at the beach. The ocean is incredible. Happy New Year to you!

Happy New Year Annie! I wish I had been recharging this week. I recovered from the flu in time for New Years though, and I did get in a lot of family time. Hope your new year is wonderful. I can’t wait to see what Lovely things you come up with for us this year!
